Kokopelli Lore

Kokopelli is a fertility deity, usually depicted as a humpbacked flute player. He also presides over the reproduction of game animals and is often depicted with animal companions of deer and rams. In his domain over agriculture his flute playing chases away the Winter and brings the Spring. Many tribes also associate Kokopelli with the rains and associate the hump on his back as a sack carrying seeds. Like most fertility deities, Kokopelli resides over both childbirth and agriculture.
