Wall Art.....1/4 inch round reeds shape the Body and Legs, both are wrapped in Kool-Aid dyed Raffia. The Head is made of Pine Needles coiled in a slight oval shape with Arrowheads (alertness) worked into the coils, and an etched bead holds a small flower-shaped green bead for the Eye. Flat 1/4 inch reeds shape the Arms holding the Flute (rnd reed painted white decorated with beads & tiny feathers) and red Sinew makes a Lightning (powerful) design in the body. A skirt of natural white goose feathers cover the lower portion of the body, trimmed w/a string belt & glass beads. The Feet are wrapped w/rawhide trimmed w/beads, small feathers. The figure itself measures 16.5" T x 6" W from the feet to the feathers. The Luan wood frame will be left in the natural color, laced & knotted with rawhide, also glued. The decorations are wood, glass, bone beads, trimmed with natural white goose feathers below. The frame measures 25" T x 15" W and the hanger is rawhide knotted & glued to the frame.
