Pine needles coiled around the outside edge of flat reeds in natural Sinew with Black & Red Sinew woven over & under the flat reeds in the center. Trimmed with glass, wood, horn pipe beads and natural feathers. Measures 6" Round x 9" Long........Finished - 6/06

**I call this, a Dangle or Charm. This is one of the FIRST tries at merging two(2) totally different Basket weaving materials into one. I still have many rolls of flat, oval, round reeds left over from my first venture in Split Reed Basket Weaving, just sitting in a closet.**

**I have learned so much since making this item....This is almost a Medicine Wheel.....IF I had used all the 4 Wind Colors. However it is still a Circle which means the Circle of Life......

RED.... the Color of the East Wind, also means Spring...the renewal of life.
BLACK.... the Color of the West Wind, also means Autumn...end of the cycle.
The WHITE Feathers.... the Color of the South Wind, also means Summer....the time of peace.
Only BLUE is MISSING....North Wind...Winter...defeat & trouble.
