Pine needles wrapped in natural Raffia. The center has 4 (plastic) beads in pastel colors, trimmed with 2 rows of Kool-Aid dyed Raffia.

***This is one of my "great ideas gone wrong". It looked simple to do "in my mind" and would be a very versitile little basket. I was so wrong! This being one of my earlier baskets, I made the mistake of using plastic beads, instead of the better quality, glass, bone, or pottery beads. I didn't think this one through before I dived into this design of mine, but it is still a good little basket. Definitely ONE-OF-A-KIND. ***PineWeaver - 7/18/07

The main problem with this design is that the middle coils build up faster than the outside coils. If I can figure out a better solution to the problem, I would like to try to make another one of these Baskets in the near future. - 6/25/08
