Pine needles coiled and wrapped in natural Raffia and colorful Sinew. The center is a straight coil, decorated with multi-colored stitches in Sinew. Assorted glass beads, mimic the colors used in the basket, are woven in along both sides of the basket near the top rim. A footed coil on the bottom reflects the blue on the top rim to balance out the view. 9"L x 8"W................Basket finished - Feb.'07
***This basket began life, as you can see in the center, a more woven effect but some where along the line, it quit working. The problem with this type of weave design, it becomes too flexible to support a level bottom. I changed tactics & finished with the much tighter sides in Sinew and added a tight coil to support the bottom. ***PineWeaver - 7/22/07
